ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Below are admission requirements for programs offered at BRI;

MASTER OF SCIENCE (MOLECULAR BIOLOGY) (COURSEWORK)

• Bachelor of Science with a CGPA of 2.75 and above, in life sciences (biology) or its equivalent, from universities recognised by the Senate. 
• Other qualifications equivalent to bachelor’s degree and relevant experience recognised by the Senate. 
• Candidates should pass the English paper in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or other relevant qualifications recognised by the Senate (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, etc.). 

MASTER OF SCIENCE (BIOTECHNOLOGY) (RESEARCH)

• Bachelor of Science with second class, of having an minimum CGPA of 2.75, in life science (biology) or equivalent, from universities recognized by the Senate.
• Other qualifications equivalent to Bachelor degree and relevant experience recognised by the Senate. Master of Science (Biotechnology / Molecular Biology).
• Candidates should pass English paper in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or other relevant qualifi cations recognized By the Senate (example: TOEFL, ILETS etc.).

DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (APPLIED SCIENCE) (RESEARCH)

• Master of Science or Master of Philosophy in life sciences (biology) or its equivalent, from universities recognised by the Senate.
• Other qualifications equivalent to Master degree and relevant experience recognised by the Senate.
• Candidates should pass the English paper in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or other relevant qualifications recognised by the Senate (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)
